The city of Miami always delivers when it comes to boozy sips and tantalizingly delicious bites however, Icebox Cafe is bringing a new wave of health conscious foods to the forefront. Tucked away in Miami Beach, Icebox Cafe is anything but minimal.
The space cultivates an inviting ambience unlike any other. With hues of teal, peachy corrals and off-white, the decor of Icebox Cafe is chic and similar to a SoCal lounge.
Owner Robert Siegmann has cultivated both the dessert and main menus which serve some pretty unique bites. Luckily we were able to try a selection of items from the menu. Notable items include: Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, the Kale and Quinoa Fritters, however the Faroe Islands Wasabi-Crusted Salmon is by far rememberable. Complete with pad Thai-style vegetable quinoa, peanuts, micro cilantro this dish is a must-try.
The cocktail menu is pretty impressive as well. The refreshing cucumber lemonade is perfect for those hot Miami days and the coconut mojito is a nice twist on a beach favorite.
Trust me, you’re going to want to leave room for dessert! With multiple media appearances including The Oprah Winfrey Show, the dessert menu is simply mouthwatering. Using the finest ingredients and from scratch its no wonder why the cake shop is the talk of the town! My favorite was the carrot cake!
“We have a local vibe and we like to provide people with variety in terms of clean eats,” states Rebecca Rebel General Manager of Icebox Cafe. “We love a good vibe which is why most of our customers are repeating customers.”
Icebox delivers fresh well-balanced options using quality ingredients where the second you step in, you’re family.
