Super Bowl LIII is being held at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and is always an expensive ticket with an experience that might not match with the cost. With all of the amazing venues and offers for this gigantic football weekend, Las Vegas can provide you with a better experience than overpaying for nosebleed seats. Splash Magazines Worldwide has put together some of the best spots to enjoy the big game in Las Vegas.
If you are looking for an experience that takes you far beyond the typical gameday setting, it is hard to beat the experience at CliQue Bar and Lounge located inside The Cosmopolitan. Later in the evening CliQue does become a lounge, but for football you get the same incredible setting and world-class service to go with lush couches and televisions at every angle to make sure you don’t miss a snap.
The menu created by award-winning chef Brian Massie is so good that the Super Bowl might become an afterthought. You can start off with the signature wings or pigs in blankets, but from there the menu quickly drifts off into a seriously elevated level. The flawless and flavorful lamb that is the centerpiece of the mini-lamb gyros would make any Greek proud. The seafood selection is certainly something you will not find at any other Super Bowl party. You can choose from miso sea bass lettuce cups, yellowtail sashimi, mini lobster tacos or what is a bite of perfection, Bill’s spicy tuna. This fresh spicy tuna is placed perfectly on a setting of crispy rice creating a perfect singular bite that somehow becomes even more flavorful when you dip it in the ponzu sauce. Make sure you save room in the fourth quarter for the deep fried oreos. They are as good as they sound and the batter is light and fluffy, almost as if you are biting into a fresh donut and then you hit a hot birthday cake Oreo cookie.
If you thought the food was distracting, wait until you take a look at the cocktail menu. You can start off with something refreshing such as the flavorful “So Fresa, So Clean”, which is centered around Avion tequila, but is very subtle with the addition of watermelon, lime, agave and a strawberry gomme syrup. While it is tough to come up with a favorite, “The God of Wine” is one of those cocktails that as it tickles your taste buds you just can’t figure out which wonderfully flavor is stealing the show. This red wine sangria is complemented with Hennessey VS Cognac, fresh watermelon juice, the strawberry gomme syrup and is topped of with champagne. For more information, visit: CliQue
